Skillful curatorship – “curadoria” in Portuguese – lies at the heart of CURA, the hotel’s new restaurant where young Michelin-starred Chef and head culinary curator Pedro Pena Bastos selects his ingredients as meticulously as an artist chooses his paints, drawing from Lisbon’s rich regional palette of seasonal ingredients to create artisanal dishes of great depth, taste and meaning. 

The most recent project- an outdoor swimming pool and bar with under-water music. The Hotel’s new pool area is a sophisticated oasis perfect for enjoying and relaxing dip with a refreshing drink. The Pool Bar’s menu offers a good selection of food, petiscos, drinks and Lisbon-inspired cocktails.

What will be your main responsibilities and duties: 

Provide guests with a pleasant, efficient and professional service in accordance with Four Seasons standards; 

Check the general condition of the Bar, cleanliness and good maintenance of the furniture; 

Develop and know the bar menu. Knowing how to explain to customers the drinks offered on the menu as well as the composition of cocktails and various dishes; 

Participate in the development of the team by following up each member of the team and proposing training to improve individual performance; 

Carry out quality criteria on each of his/her employees in order to ensure that the Standards are well acquired and put into practice with a view to providing a consistent quality of service. 

What you will bring to us: 

Excellent communication and organization skills; 

Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure; 

Attention to detail and problem solving skills; 

Have an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage preparation. 

Have a in-depth knowledge of wine. 

Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays. 

The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country; 

Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Portuguese and English.
