JOB DETAILS
HOST: The Mondrian Doha
DESTINATION: The State of Qatar
PROGRAM: Hospitality Internship Program
DURATION: 4-months (minimum), up to 12-months (maximum)
INTAKE: Between June & September 2022
OPENING: Food & Beverage Services, Bar, Culinary Arts

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE INTERN
- Work in all areas of F&B service operations including bar, restaurant, banqueting, room service, sommelier, conference, & events
- Prepare the room and the tables for the service
- Interact with customers, take, and serve their orders
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Greet visitors warmly; consistently demonstrate high levels of customer service
- Other related duties under the supervision of F&B managers/trainers

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF BAR INTERN
- Arranging the room and dining area for service
- Present menus to customers
- Take and serve customers’ orders
- Keep the workstation neat and clean
- Prepare drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF CULINARY ARTS INTERN
- Prepare the daily mise-en-place & food production in different sections of the main kitchen & assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes & specifications
- Assist in checking & managing proper storage of food stock, monitoring age & condition of all food items to rotate
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the workstation at all times
- Assisting in making sure the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
