As a Food Server at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, your accommodating personality and ability to balance the needs of a diverse clientele will facilitate a dining experience that guests will savor long after they have taken the last bite.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Deliver prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to guests in accordance with established standards.
• Perform necessary tasks to service guests- i.e. taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining guests' dining area in a clean and neat manner.
• Tour guide our wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage choices.
• Create a culinary adventure for our guests.
• Monitor guests' needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled.
• Follow sanitation and table maintenance standards for amazing guest service.
• Assist other employees with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• At least 6 months of experience in a bar, lounge, nightclub or full service restaurant in a luxury resort setting.
• Working knowledge of all restaurant functions and tableside service.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in very high paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with other department employees and guests.
• At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
