What you will be doing:

Work closely with all the departments to ensure successful implementation of sustainability initiatives and acting for positive hospitality

Adhere to HACCP and Accor’s ALLSAFE procedures in line with the brand standards accordingly

Perform general segregation and tidying duties as assigned in accordance with established standards of performance and schedules

Segregate waste, refuse and rubbish according to the established hygiene and sanitation standards

Calculates, monitors and reports all related hotel waste to aid in Planet 21 and other sustainability approaches

Count, sort, compile and prepare all materials for recycling according to plastic, glass, paper, aluminum cans, non-CFLs, steel, wood, electrical

Liase with the recycling company and its people to maximize conversion of waste to reusable materials

To report for duty punctually wearing the complete uniform

Perform duties as assigned by the Hygiene Officer and Stewarding Supervisor

Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

Two years or more experience in a premium or luxury brand, 5-star hotel in the UAE or GCC

Fully conversant with the Accor brand, its standards and its DNA

Champion for ALLSAFE, HACCP, Planet 21 and Sustainability

Highly responsible, reliable and proven team leadership

Good interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service and for the environment

Extremely proactive with all activities to support the hotel and its Heartists

Good physical and mental health
