Be a part of an incredible bar environment overlooking downtown New Orleans. Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. This position will play a large role in making the H Bar a premier New Orleans beverage location. Supervisors are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, and colleague coaching. Beverage Supervisors must demonstrate fundamental beverage knowledge and ensure that the outlet is equipped with the essential supplies. This position plays a significant role in the overall performance of the bar, which includes product quality and service standards. As a supervisor within H Bar, this role will be responsible for supporting the ordering and inventory of all bar stock and equipment. This position will also collaborate with hotel leadership on menu create, cocktail creation, and marketing/promotional initiatives to increase local presence within the city. The right person should be familiar with mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this role will also work as the premier bartender in the bar, and will be eligible for tips in addition to hourly pay. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.

Qualifications

· Takes pride in a great job done

· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others

· Able to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight

· Able to walk and stand throughout duration of shift

· Prior F&B leadership, whether supervisory or lead level required.

· Prior beverage knowledge and experience, including experience with specialty cocktails 

· Flexible availability as needed, including weekends and holidays. Friday and Saturday availability is a must.
