You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owners expectations. The Restaurant Assistant Manager is responsible to assist Casa Amate Restaurant, our signature restaurant (one of Mexico's Top 120 Restaurants by Guía México Gastronómico) in managing the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit center, in line with the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating ensuring the financial success of the outlet.

Qualifications

Fluent in Spanish and English (writing, speaking and reading).

At least 2 years of experience in similar leadership position.

Ideally with a degree in Gastronomy or Tourism.

Advanced knowledge in wines and distillates, AAA standards and cost and inventory management.

General computer skills, with experience in Micros Symphony and payroll management systems.

Availability for time management, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Must possess the following strengths: excellent administrative and operational management, problem solving, interpersonal skills, detail oriented, leadership attitude, teamwork, effective communication, emotional intelligence and budget management.
