About Me
Lucy Akoth is a young and multifaceted lady with a unique background in front office, sales, hospitality, education and passionate about sustainability and growth of young women, teenage mothers and children. Beginning my career as a French/ Swahili teacher to the hospitality department where i gained expertise in customer relations to the Human Resource and Gender Department before transitioning into the Finance sector. Overtime as a CFO, Lucy has gained expertise, more knowledge and shown immense growth in financial management, budget planning and have been able to manage the leadership roles given in the Finance department. Beyond professional achievements, Lucy Akoth is passionate about empowering teenage mothers in completion of their education after getting pregnant and undergoing discrimination as a teenage mother when I was in my first year in campus. Lucy Juma currently resides in Kenya with her two children and loves travelling, keeping fit and above all watching investigative movies.
