My name is Sougata dey I am an aspiring hotelier With four years of progressive experience in luxury resorts and fine-dining establishments across India, the Maldives, and Qatar, I have built a solid foundation in high-end hospitality. A key highlight of my career includes achieving a 100% score on an LHW audit for the Beach Club Grill at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa. I bring over six months of experience as a part-time sommelier and hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and have further strengthened my expertise through internationally recognized certifications including Champagne Education (Niveau 1 – Champagne Explorateur), Wines of Portugal, and Chianti Classico Expert. My international background has instilled in me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a belief that exceptional service is rooted in empathy and a genuine passion for the craft.
